UFOs D - E
Dronfield (1995)
From High Street, Apperknowle, in July 1995 the author and two other witnesses saw two, non-flashing white lights moving in parallel through the dark night sky, flying from East to West over Apperknowle and continuing over Dronfield, making no sound.
The same night, upon returning home to Gosforth Valley, the author, outside his home, saw one white light moving upwards in the sky in an arc, to the south, and then becoming stationary.

Dronfield (1997)
In March 1997 a triangular craft was seen by a number of witnesses flying over Dronfield at a height of about 200 feet, surrounded by jet fighters.
A short time later, an aircraft was spotted by a patrolling Special Constable, who then heard a loud bang in the area of Howden Moor (to the West of Sheffield) who thought that the aircraft had crashed. Putting the two reports together, it was thought by some at the time that one of the unidentified craft had made an impact.

Dronfield (2009)
Between January and September 2009 a number of witnesses reported seeing orange lights moving in the sky over Dronfield.
One August night a round shape was seen in the sky there, which lightened and then darkened.

Dronfield (2021)
In mid-September 2021 Alaska Craddock saw a vibrant red/orange light in the sky above Dronfield. It was a clear night and it was too round to be a plane . It hovered and then moved around as fast as a shooting star . Then it just disappeared into the darkness. She was wondering whether it was an extra-terrestrial craft.
Eckington
In December 2014, whilst studying his radar screen, Mr G Emmett noticed nine UFOs manoeuvring, doing a sudden 90 degree turn and shooting off the screen in the vicinity of Eckington.
